Give your authors a helping hand by using templates in your documentation space. You will need Space Administrator permissions to create templates.

To create a template:

  1. Go to "Space Tools" in the sidebar, select "Content Tools" and create a new template.
  2. Click "Page Layout" and add sections and columns to your page.
  3. Add headings and sub-headings as needed.
  4. Choose "Instructional Text" from the "Template" menu and add text that is only visible in the editor.
  5. Save your template.
Your template will become available in the Create dialog for this space

How to Setup Single Sign On from the Portals to Redtail CRM

  • SSO must be setup before any of the other integration features are accessible.  
  • Features do not display until SSO has been successfully setup.
  • You will need to setup your Redtail SSO on the broker/dealer portal and also on the planning portal if you use both.


  • Login to the Portal(s).
  • Click on the Profile icon in the upper right-hand corner of the site.
  • This will take you into your Portal Profile page.
  • Click on the “Edit Profile” button
  • Click on the “SSO” tab
  • Click on the Pencil icon to the right of the “Redtail Key” field.  This will display a pop-up box where you can enter and save your Redtail credentials. 
  • Type in your UserID and Password for Redtail, then click on the “Save” Button
  • Clicking on “Save” will close the dialog box. In the Redtail Key field, and you will now see a long string of numbers and letters that looks like a software key. 
  • Click on the “Save” button at the top of your profile page.
  • You are now ready to use Single Sign On to the Redtail CRM site.
    • Click on the SSO link on the right-side menu of the portal menu
    • Choose Redtail from the list
    • This will open the Redtail CRM site in a new tab and automatically sign you into Redtail.




Troubleshooting

If nothing happens after you enter your credentials and click on “Save”, Chrome’s Auto-fill is probably causing the issue.  Chrome auto-fill likes to fill in fields behind the active dialog box, which will prevent the “Save” from completing its action.  

If this happens to you:

  1. Close the Single Sign On pop up box (Figure 4).
  2. Click on the Profile tab
  3. Check the Twitter field at the bottom of that page. Chrome Auto-fill likes to fill in this field.  The error is caused because the auto-filled value is not in the proper Twitter format.  If there is a value in the Twitter field, remove it.  Do NOT click save.  If you click save, Chrome Auto-fill will populate the Twitter field again.

Follow Steps 4 through 8 as described above to successfully complete your Redtail SSO setup.
