There are multiple ways to navigate the features and information available on the portal. The numbered items on the below screenshot correspond to the numbered information presented below the image.

  1. Top Menu Tabs: These tabs are always available no matter what page you are visiting in the site. They represent key functional areasTop
    1. MyOffice - The main screen for the portal. Dashboard - This is the default page that will display when you login. The dashboard provides one page where you can status all of the portals work items and alerts for anything in process and recently completed.  You will also see timely and important information displayed at the top of the Dashboard.
    2. Inbox - this is an internal messaging system that allows you to communicate with other users. This is not your monitored email account.
    3. My Group - this provides access to group calendars and workrooms.
    4. CRM - direct access to the contact manager.
    5. Account Wizard - Quick access to the account wizard
    6. Dashboard - The dashboard provides one page where you can status all of the portals work items and alerts for anything in process and recently completed.
    7. What's New/One News - the broker dealer's weekly online newsletter. Providing Provides home office news, sales tips, product information and more.
  2. Search: use keyword searches to find information related to a specific topic.
    1. CRM - direct access to the contact manager.
    2. Directory:  quick access to the home office contact list (organized by department).
    3. Account Wizard - Quick access to the account wizard
  3. Quick Menu Icons: These icons link you to key functions. Hover over the image for a description.

  5. Side Menu: The side menu is the main navigational tool for the site. As new features and SSO services are added, this menu will change. Most side menu items will expand to reveal more choices if when you click on them.
  6. My Office Screen – The main screen presents a variety of picture-oriented navigation. These objects are linked to a variety of features and tools. Your personal office may link to different features, but below is a list of the most typical links

    1. Binder Index: This object will be used in the future.
    2. Rolodex: click on the Rolodex to view your Contact Relationship Manager.
    3. File Drawer: Click on the file drawer to open it.
    4. Post It – Click on this to create and send a post it note alert to another portal member.
    5. Picture Frame – this links to My Photos. You can upload your photos into an album for storage.
    6. Calendar – links to the monthly view of the online calendar.
    7. Clock – links to your personal calendar and to-do list.
    8. Desktop – This feature will be used in the future.
    9. Chair Back – this links to a private discussion with the owner of the office you are viewing. If you are viewing your own office, you will be taken to a private discussion thread that can be used for recording information for your own use.
    10. Inbox – links to your inbox. The Inbox displays all of the various forums, private messages and discussion threads from the portal.
    11. iGuide – click on this for help within the portal.
    12. Newspaper – links to the “What’s New” Newsletter.
    13. Coffee Cup - This object will be used in the future.
    14. Key – takes you into the Libraries. Here you will find binders filled with a variety of key information – everything from compliance to product news. The library will be built out in the future.
    15. Nameplate – links to the profile page of the member’s office that you are viewing. If you are viewing your own office, you can follow this link to edit your profile or change your password.
    16. Phone: This object will be used in the future.
    17. Whiteboard: click on the whiteboard to view the “Getting Started Guide”
    18. Bookshelf #1: The binders on this set of shelves have been created by the Home Office and placed in your office for your reference.
    19. Bookshelf #2: This is a space designated to house your personal binders.
  7. Custom Buttons - every user can add up to 18 custom web links to their office.
