Account Search: Tracking Your Business
To view the status of your account wizard transactions, do the following.
- On the side menu, click on Account Manager. Choose Account Search from the expanded side menu.
- On the Account Search page, you will see
- Status: You have 5 radio buttons to choose from. Click on one, then hit the View Status button to view all items assigned to that status.
- Saved – items you have not submitted;
- More Info Needed – items that you have submitted but have come back to you from Compliance or Operations;
- In Process- items you have submitted ( like the ACAT we are just doing)
- Completed – items that you submitted and home office has completed; and
- All – see everything.
- Search Criteria (Searching for a saved account): Once you have clicked on the Account Search page, you will see the above screen load. By default, it will load the list of your saved account wizard transactions, with the most recently saved items at the top of the list. For a more specific search, you can use the search criteria fields to filter and find specific items by client name, registration, account number, etc.
- View Results: Click on this button once you have set your search criteria. This will apply your filters and present a list of matching data.
- Clear Form: Click on this to reset the search criteria.
- Results listing: After you hit the View Results button, the results list will display the items matching your search criteria. This also displays the number of results. To select a saved account, simply click on the View text next to the client name to load that transaction. If you hover over an item, that line will be highlighted in yellow to make it easy to locate on screen.
- Function Buttons: This area lets you print the list or export it to excel.
- Status Legend: Click on this button to view the various statuses and their definitions.
- Result Header: You can click on any of the underlined header field namesto sort the results list. You may need to click on the header twice to get the results you desire.
Deleting a saved account: To delete a saved transaction, click on the garbage can for that line item. Note: only items with a saved status can be deleted. All other items have already entered the firm’s workflow and cannot be deleted.
