Custom Groups
Custom groups allow you to setup an unlimited number of groups for marketing and reporting purposes. Custom groups memberships are displayed on the Groups tab in the contact card and can be edited using the pencil icon on the card. A client list by group report is available in the reports section.
Setting Up/Labeling Your Groups
To add your own groups to the contact manager, click on the Set Groups button on the side menu from within the contact manager. This opens the window in [Figure 32b].
- Custom Groups: this area lists the Groups that you have setup within your contact manager.
- Rename Custom Group: Rename an existing group by first selecting it from the list in section 1, then typing the new name. Next, click on the Rename Custom Group button to save it.
- Add Custom Group: Use this section to create new groups. Type the new group name in the field next to the Add Custom Group button, then click on the Add Custom Group button. This will add it to the list in the Custom Groups section.
- Trash: Use this icon to delete existing groups. First click on the name of the group, and then click on the trash icon. This removes the group from the list.
